Patient Services
Rooms

Your and your companion’s comfort is of great importance for us. Our patient rooms include the singles, doubles and suite rooms available in the delivery and VIP floors. Each one of our rooms includes adjustable beds, television, bathroom / toilet, nurse call system, and emergency call system. In the direction of your or your physician’s requests your companions may stay with you in the single person and suite rooms.

The bed clothes of the patients’ and companions’ beds, and towels are regularly and daily changed, room, bathroom, and toilet cleaning is daily done and if needed, more often cleaning is done by the specialist cleaning staff members.

Room service: Our hospitalized patients are given three main courses and three snacks, in total 6 times food and beverage service which is determined according to the patient demands by the specialist dieticians when they visit the patient rooms. If you want to take room service for yourself or your companion, it is solely enough to call the room service on 7286.

Bayındır Facilities

Bankamatik (ATM): In the entrance and B1 floor of Bayındır Hospital, you may withdraw your  money from Is Bank ATM (Bankamatik) and do the other financial and banking transactions.

Cafeteria: In Atrium Café servicing in the ground floor of Bayındır Hospital, all kinds of breakfasts, grills, sandwiches, salads, cakes, pastries, and hot – cold beverages are available for the patients / visitors / companions for 7 days and 24 hours. In addition, you may take pastries, toast, and grills in Izmarit Café which is outside Bayındır Hospital. Opened on week days between 07:30 am and 17:30 pm, and at the weekend solely opened on Saturday between 07:30 am and 12:30 pm.

Parking: You may use the large sized parking areas of our hospital located in Söğütözü. Park officer will assist you for parking and the safety of your vehicle. Our parking place is free of charge.

Transportation between two hospitals: Should you need (for testing, treatment, consultation etc.), your transfer between Bayındır Hospital Söğütözü Branch and Bayındır Hospital Kavaklıdere Branch is provided free of charge in the hours determined with the hospital vehicle between 08:15 am and 06:15 pm (on weekdays) and between 08:15 am and 01:30 pm on Saturdays.

Patient Consultants: Our patient consultants who are available at front desk, outpatient clinic consultancy, all the desks of all the medical units, inpatient floors, intensive care unit, emergency service, patient admission and discharge unit, as well as operating room will assist and direct you on all subjects as soon as you step in our hospital.

Library Services: You may read the domestic and foreign medical books and magazines in our library during your hospitalization period.

Ironing / Laundry: During the period of hospitalization, you or your companion may benefit from the laundry services for your cloths you request to be washed / ironed provided that you pay the amount for this service. It is solely enough to inform your consultant for this service.

Hairdresser: During the period of hospitalization, if you or your companion need hairdresser and barber, it is solely enough to inform your consultant for this service.

Newspaper service: During the period of hospitalization, if you or your companion need newspaper / magazine, it is solely enough to inform your consultant for this service.

Telephoning: During the period of hospitalization, it will be possible to telephone anywhere outside the hospital with the special password provided by your patient consultant.

Security: From the security room available in our hospitals: all sides of the building, entrances and exits, and medical unit entrances are watched with security camera for 24 hours. The fire stairs available in the inpatient floors are electronically watched and in case of misuse the security will immediately intervene this. Our security staffs are available in and around the hospital for 24 hours and 7days. You may call the security department for loss and stolen goods.

Religious beliefs:
Should you or your companion request to pray, your consultant will assist you to find a prayer rug and appropriate place. If you request religious functionary or other religious needs (such as imam, clergyman, Quran, Bible, zam – zam water etc.) the responsible nurse of the department will assist you to meet your request.

Interpreter: Interpreter is provided for those patients and their relatives who cannot speak Turkish.

Homecare: When you inform the responsible nurse for your homecare request after discharge from hospital, this responsible nurse will directly contact the Homecare Center. The responsible physician and nurse of the Homecare Center will visit you and inform about the homecare procedures.
Our Homecare Center meets all the homecare requests within the borders of Ankara City.

Bcard membership system: B card membership system is a healthcare system provided with a membership card you will have against a trivial fee, this system will provide you to benefit from free of charge services and cut – price services of Bayındır Hospitals.   The most substantial feature of the b card is the fact that it enables the cut – price and free of charge services to all patients without excluding sex, and age, but including the chronic disease patients.

Appointment: You can take your appointment from our appointment center which is opened for 24 hours. In the outpatient clinics of Bayındır Hospital appointments are arranged between 08:30 am and 08:00 pm (on weekdays) and on Saturdays between 08:30 am and 06:00 pm including the lunch hours but not official holidays and Sundays. It is solely enough to inform us about your appointment requests (specifying the day, hour and department) on telephone number: 0090312 287 90 00 for Bayındır Hospital Söğütözü, on telephone number: 0090312 428 08 08 for Bayındır Hospital Kavaklıdere, on telephone number: 0090216 575 26 66 Bayındır Hospital İçerenköy, and on telephone number: 0090212 279 60 60 for Bayındır Medical Center. When you call our hospital at appointment hours the patient consultant and nurse will assist you for the procedures. Follow up appointment date and hour will be determined by the Patient Consultant and you will be informed of this date.

Patient Training: Our hospitalized patients are given trainings and booklets by the relevant team about the treatment after discharge from hospital, recuperation period, disease, medications, diet type, devices and tools to be used, baby and puerperant woman care, emergency / other conditions.

In addition to the trainings, the medication card, vaccination card, and specific medication cards will be arranged by the relevant nurse and your treatment will be maintained.
When you need, Diabetes Mellitus Training Nurse, Infection Control Nurse, Homecare Nurse will arrange the trainings associated with the Protection / Prevention from Infection at Home, the rules to be obeyed by the hepatitis carriers, diabetes mellitus complications, as well as insulin applications. These trainings are free of charge.

Besides, the related department physicians, and other specialist nurses will arrange the trainings in the certain periods upon the Diabetes Mellitus, Dermatology, Hypertension, and Cardiac Health, these trainings are free of charge.

The disposable slipper, shampoo, hair dryer, hand & face towel, body towel, and patient gown are available in our rooms.

Test Results
You may learn the results of laboratory, radiology, and other tests 1 – 2 hours after the test from the relevant consultant.  Due to the fact that specific tests are solely done in certain days of the week, for further information you may contact the patient consultant of the related unit.

BAYINDIR PROCEDURES

Visit Hours
You may visit your patient every day between 01:00 pm and 10:00 pm in our hospitals. It will ease your visit to attach the visitor’s card delivered by the front desk against your ID, on your collar.

Upon the completion of your visit, you may take your ID by giving the visitor’s card back.

Due to the fact that the treatment of our patients is not ceased, foods and beverages outside the hospital are not allowed. During your visit, it is allowed for you to bring chocolate, cologne or sugar with you.

Children
We suggest that you not bring your children to the patient visits. Because of the fact that the respiratory tract diseases are particularly transmitted easily during the winter months it is not allowed for you to bring the children fewer than 12. On the other hand, the children in their 12 and over may come to the patient visit with their parents in other months of the year.

Flower
In Bayındır Hospitals, flower is not accepted in order for protecting the patient from infection. Flowers you bring or you send are kept in the special site of the front desk. The special flower cards on which the full name of the senders is written are sent to the patient rooms therefore our patients are informed. Patient or the patient’s relative may take the flowers from the front desk after the discharge from the hospital.

Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in Bayındır Hospitals as we intend to provide a smoke free environment for our patients, visitors, and employees. The patient relatives who would like to smoke may smoke in the open air café.

Patient Companionship
In the direction of the requests by the physicians of Bayındır Hospitals your companion may stay in the room.

All kinds of your requests, wishes, thanks and claims related to the healthcare services provided by our institution may be written on the questionnaire or you may contact our managers.

RIGHTS OF PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES

You will have the following rights when you take services from Bayındır Hospitals:

1-    You have the right to receive care services regardless your age, sex, language and nationality, and have the right to want respect for your moral and cultural values, religious and philosophical beliefs. We, the employees of Bayındır Hospital, are aware that every person should be in a good condition physically, spiritually, and socially and considering the fact that the fundamental right of the patient be the protection of health therefore we take this principle in every step of healthcare services into consideration.
2-    You have the right to be informed about the related medical facts, suggested interventions / treatments and the possible risks or benefits of all interventions / treatments, the alternatives of the suggested interventions / treatments, the conclusions if no treatments are applied, as well as the course of the diagnosis and treatment of your disease.
3-    You have the right to be informed with the less foreign words and a way you can understand.
4-     Should we not speak in a common language with our patients, we know that our patients have the right to request interpreter, and we thus are communicating via an interpreter.
5-    You have the right not to be informed or to determine one person instead of you.
6-    You have the right to take the second opinion in line with the procedures of our hospital, and to learn the alternative healthcare institutions and to alter the healthcare institution.
7-    You have the right to be aware of the ID, title of the health worker of yours and to select and change this health worker.
8-    You have the right to be informed about the rules and routine procedures you will obey during your stay at the hospital.
9-    In case of your discharge from hospital, your right includes the diagnosis, treatment and care of yourself.
